Ha YoungAe received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Department of Political Science at Konkuk University. She served as a military officer and received a Ph.D. in political science at National Taiwan University. Ha served as a professor at Kyung Hee University’s Humanitas College and as the chair of the female professors’ association. She continues to teach and uplift students at Humanitas College. Following the establishment of Korea-China relations in 1992, Ha recognized the importance of women’s influence in politics and established the Korea-China Women’s Exchange Association in 1994. Today, she serves as the organization’s chair. Other works by Ha include The Beautiful and Rewarding World of BAR, Women Leaders in Korean and Chinese Society, and Women and the Brighter Society Movement.
