Yang In-ja studied Korean literature at university and children’s literature at graduate school. Her fairy tale “Cheonwangbong” received an award in the Jeonnam Daily’s Spring Literary Contest, and she received the New Writer Award in the 7th Blue Literature Contest and the 3rd Jeong Chaebong Literature Award. Her literary works for young readers have been recommended by the literary magazine Children and Literature. She has written and published Our DNA, a collection of stories for youth, Late Blooming Flowers, It’s Me Your Daughter Ha Jeongyeon, My Nasty Tail, and The Game of Being a Brother, all novels for children, and I Will Take off the Gum and Going Out like a Runaway, collections of stories for children. Her goal is to write a little better each day, rather than write better than others.
