Professor Kim Kwanghyun(M) received his bachelor's and master's degrees in Architecture from Seoul National University, and received his Ph.D in Architecture from Tokyo University Graduate School. For 42 years until 2018, he studied and taught architectural design and theories based on the concept of commonness in architecture at the University of Seoul and Seoul National University. He served in many positions, including a member of the National Architecture Policy Committee under Presidential Office, vice chairman of the Architectural Institute of Korea and chairman of the Korean Council for Architectural Education, and he is current principal at the GDArchiSchool.
