Choi Hyeongseon graduated from Ewha Womans University with a BA degree in Biology and a PhD degree in Ecology. She did research in the microbial ecology lab at the University of Delaware in the U.S. and taught Ecology and Environmentology at Ewha Womans University and Sungkyunkwan University for about 20 years. She has worked as the principal at the weekend alternative school, "Altrusa Fun School" and also worked as a central consultant at the Ministry of Environment and the Co-Chair of the Water Policy Forum. Currently, while she leads 54 District YWCA Life Fitness as the Life Fitness Team Leader at the Federation of Korea YMCA, she holds a position as the deliberation council member of the complication management at the Ministry of Environment. Her written works include Children’s Ecology (total two books), First Step to Animal Encyclopedia, and Ecology Story.
