(English) The writer is a researcher at the Kyujanggak Institute for Korean Studies at Seoul National University. He studied Korean history at the Seoul National University and received his Ph.D. from his alma mater for his dissertation on Jokbo compilations and participating in social classes during the early Joseon dynasty.
