(English) The production team of SBS's 'Stories of the Day' advocates "The Story of Modern and Contemporary History." We track the history beyond history books through sheding some light on the lives of the people who had undergone the historic events that are recorded only in brief terms. What are the causes behind the historic events that we are aware of? History never stands alone. From causes to effects, from storytellers to listeners, from contents producers to viewers-the stories locate themselves in a loop in an attempt to perceive history as stories of people from earlier generations, rather than a mere form of records.

(French) L’histoire de chacun est écrite tout brièvement dans un livre d’histoire mais derrière cette description courte, elle est beaucoup plus réelle, profonde et détaillée. Les histoires, l’une après l’autre veut savoir cette histoire qui se cache derrière. L’Histoire ne peut pas exister tout seul. Il y a toujours des causes et des consequences des événements. Les histoires se passent des conteurs aux amis, des producteurs aux téléspectateurs, l’une après l’autre. Ce n’est pas simplement l’enregistrement des faits mais c’est la tentative de bien comprendre la vie de chacun.
