Cho Hae-jin’s literary career began in 2004 when one of her stories was published in Munye Joongang. Her works include three collections of stories: City of Angels, See You on Thursday, and An Escort of Lights. She has also written five full-length novels: In an Infinitely Splendid Dream, I Met Loh Kiwan, A Forest No One Has Seen, Passing Summer, and Simple Sincerity. She has received the Shin Dong-yup Prize for Literature, the New Writer’s Award, the Lee Hyo-seok Literary Award, the Baek Shin-ae Literary Award, the Hyeongpyeong Literary Award, the Daesan Literary Award, and the Kim Man-jung Literary Award.
