(English) Born in 1986 in Seoul, Jung graduated from the Department of Philosophy at Korea University, and majored in film directing at Korea Academy of Film Arts (KAFA). His directorial credits include the documentary Too Old Hip-hop Kid, and the feature films Sabra and Mate. His first novel Goh Tae-gyeong the Q&A Villain won the 2020 Hankyung Spring Literary Contest.

2020年、ハンギョン新春文芸に長編小説『GVビラン コン・テギョン』が選ばれて、作家活動を始める。短編集に『アイ・ティンダー・ユー』、監督作品にドキュメンタリー映画『トゥー・オールド・ヒップホップ・キッド』、劇映画『サブラ』、『メイト』がある。本書は、今日の若い作家シリーズ40番目の作品として刊行された。
