Oh Seonghyun majored in Korean language and literature at Sogang University but spent more time digging into other subjects, which has helped Oh write books in diverse areas. Oh had long taught writing to students and was an editorial committee member for the Elementary School Book Review and the High School Book Review. Currently, Oh focuses on writing books and sometimes gives lectures.

Oh’s works include young adult books, such as Humanities in Classroom 1, 2, Teenagers with Sound Knowledge of A.I., Your Future Report, Earth Destruction Report, Me, the Owner of Thinking, What’s Wrong with My Face?, and Words Hurt the World. Oh has also written the children’s books Artificial Intelligence Controversy, Easy-to-Understand Elementary School Vocabulary 100, Discrimination Sickens the World, Nuclear Power Controversy, and Let’s Change the Words that Hurt the World.
