Song Aram, born in 1981 in Seoul, likes to eat alone and drink alone. Since childhood, she has dreamed of becoming a cartoonist. But it didn't work out. She couldn't adjust to institutional education and went to law school after passing her GED. By coincidence, while attending law school, she found out about a lecture on publishing comics at the Hankyoreh Education and Culture Center. Later, she became more involved in manga classes than in law school, and soon after that she set out on her path as a cartoonist. She has participated in the production of various kinds of cultured comics by organizing collaborative workshops. Since 2007, she has published cartoons with autobiographical content through Sal. In 2013, she released The Night of Daegu through Free Creation. One of her most famous works, I Cannot Stop Thinking (Mimesis, 2015), was published in a personal blog in the fall of 2013. From spring to winter of the following year, she was paid to publish her work on Lezhin Comics. This helped her to pay her rent and buy a hot meal for her family. She still likes to eat alone and drink alone, but now she spends most of her time with her husband and son. Occasionally she still eats alone and drinks alone.
