(English) As a child, Kang Hyomi wanted to be a hero and save the planet. She couldn’t save the Earth and couldn’t be a hero, so she became a writer instead and writes stories about small heroes. She graduated from the Department of Creative Writing at Dongguk University, and has written books such as Common Siblings, Uncommon Diaries 1-3; Bbangidang vs. Guwoddeu; The End of Orangutan Humans; Champion of the Korean Language; A Cat’s Art Museum; My Neighborhood Laundry that Irons out Dreams; and the Chat Girl series.
