(English) Kim Yong-jun won the 13th Pureun Literary Award for Witch Grandmother, Just Grandmother and Pirate Cats, while The Sky Told By Daryung won the Munhwa Ilbo Spring Literary Contest. He holds a master's degree in Literature from Chung-Ang University, and is carrying out various creative activities to convey information, knowledge, and stories that are beneficial to children.

Kim has been writing for many years for the Chunjae Education Children's Magazine, and his books include The Room of Danique and Gogh; The Paraoh Sword of the Carnavon Gifted School; The Tomacula; The Extensive Book Review Is Easy; So That's Why You Need to Read; Mathematics That Changed the World in Detail; Science that Changed the World, Bang; Witch Grandmother, Just Grandmother and Pirate Cats; ​and The Elementary School Textbook Stories Viewed by an Expert of Korean Language.
