(English) As a doctor of engineering, Kwak Jae-Sik works at a chemical company while also working as a writer. He has published various novels including The Greatest Wager on the Planet, The Tale of the Pirate: the Princess of Silla, ㅁㅇㅇㅅ, and The Tale of a Dragon’s Offspring. He is also well-known for his imaginative non-fiction based on science fiction and extensive scientific knowledge, including Encyclopedia of Korean Monsters, Kwak Jae-Sik’s Bacteria Exhibition, and Kwak Jae-Sik’s Shop Selling the Future. He has worked as a professor in the department of environmental safety engineering at Korea Soongsil Cyber University since 2022.
