Author Kim Yewon became visually impaired due to a medical accident during her birth, but with a loud voice and confident walk, she has never stopped enjoying her life. She studied human rights with the belief that human rights violations against people who are disabled, who are young, who are vulnerable, and who are poor can be resolved through law. She currently works as a lawyer at the Center for Laws for the Disabled, to support victims of human rights violations and contribute to amending bad laws and reforming institutions. Also, as a mother of three children, every day she dreams of a beautiful world where children, women, and the disabled are respected. She wrote Anybody’s Flower Has Bloomed, a story about the disabled in movies and in reality.
