Author Kim Hye-jung completed her first full-length novel when she was 15. She is a prolific public speaker, an avid consumer of dramas, active communicator with her readership, dedicated mother, and a wide-ranging writer of children's books, young adult novels, and essays. She is suspected of being a superwoman for her ability to maintain her beauty while achieving all of the above. Hong was the recipient of the Blue Fiction Award with Hiking Girls in 2008. She is the author of the young adult novels Tenten Film Producer, Ninja Girls, Fantastic Girl, and Diet School; the children's books Time Shift, Our Egg Tart, and Yes Consulting Center; and the essay collection How to Not Be a Lame Adult.
