(English) Choi Yu-jin received his Ph.D. in Urban Administration from Cleveland State University, worked as an Associate Research Fellow at the Korea Institute of Public Administration, and is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics and Tax Administration at Kangnam University.

Recent papers include “Politicization of a disaster and victim blaming: Analysis of the Sewol ferry case in Korea” (2022), “An empirical analysis of the effect of cooperatives on social enterprises: Estimation of a cooperative’s impact in its classification, type, and industry, using a generalized linear model” (2021), “Characteristics of local finance and activation of social enterprises: Analysis of city, county, and district level using a negative binomial regression model” (2021), “Analysis of performance factors of social enterprises: Focusing on the effect of exterior resources and the moderating effect of complex types” (2021), and “An empirical analysis on the activation conditions of social enterprises” (2020). He has published several books such as Understanding Local Autonomy (2015), Lecture Notebook on Measuring by R (2017), Talking about Cities’ Opportunities Again: Solving the Seven Difficulties of Declining Cities (2017), Public Administration Made Easy (2018), and Revival of Cities (2021).
