Kim Sooyeon (F) graduated from Yonsei University College of Nursing and received her MA and PhD from the Graduate School of Nursing at the same university. Afterwards, she studied applied developmental psychology and developmental neurology for infants in her doctorate program at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel. She has conducted developmental evaluations and early development programs at the Children 's Developmental Research Center in Israel. She was the first in Korea to emphasize the importance of evaluating childhood development and educating novice parents by appearing in numerous TV shows, including Parenting Diary and 60-Minute Parents on EBS, in addition to holding lectures. In recognition of her contributions to professional education regarding infant development, she received a commendation from the Minister of Health and Welfare.
