Gwak Jae-sik

The author, who has a doctoral degree, majored in chemistry and technology policy. While working for a chemical company, he has also been active as a novelist. He debuted as a writer when his short story, “The Rabbit’s Aria,” was made into a film in 2006. He is the author of several collections of short stories and full-length novels, with his main genre of interest being science fiction but not limited to it. He has written general science books and is also active in mass media. 

He is the author of “The Rabbit’s Aria,” “I Want to Marry You For Sure,” “The Greatest Bet of One’s Life,” and several other works. He has also done The Encyclopedia of Korean Monsters in serialization on a blog,  building and publishing one of the most impressive databases in South Korea.
