Lee Hong was born in Seoul in 1978. Her books include full length novels Girl Friends and Christmas Picnic; and a short story collection The People who Loved Me. She has won the 2007 Today’s Writers Award. She currently lives in Singapore, the main setting of One Hundred Reeds, writing its sequel.
