(English) Hwang Sungsoon studied visual design at university. He has taught students at HILLS, an illustrator community, for a long time. He portrays the world of children with comical characters and unconstrained expressions. He wrote and illustrated the picture books Ta-da! A Baby Flower; The Elephant from the Flower; and Daddy’s Face. He also illustrated children’s books including The Fuss over the Teacher’s Letter, Every Word Is a Lie, and Beka Squid, and he illustrated the picture book, The Rhino Charges.
