(English) Noh Hyun-Tae majored in information systems industrial engineering. He entered Samsung Electronics as the 48th open recruit in 2007 and has worked as a production planner at the semiconductor memory manufacturing technology center of the DS division. He currently oversees investment on memory manufacturing and inspection-related matters as a planning manager of the FAB2 team. The author believes that numbers—which enhance accuracy in the workplace, grant objectivity to the work, and heighten the quality of reports—are essential tools for workers. He shares his know-how of numbers that he’s grasped from nearly 20 years of work experience in the hopes that younger people can work more efficiently.

(Chinese) 作者在大学攻读信息系统和产业工程专业。2007年参加三星电子第48期公开招聘，加入DS部门半导体存储器制造技术中心，担任“生产企划师”的工作。目前担任FAB2团队的企划部门主管，负责审查与存储器制造相关的投资和检查限制事项。他认为在工作中数字是必不可少的核心工具，它可以增加工作的准确性，为意见提供客观性，使报告更加出色。为了让年轻人们在工作中游刃有余，作者通过这本书一一公开了在近20年的现场工作中积累的实战数字技巧。
