Illustrator Kim, E-jo once worked as an installation artist after earning his B.A in Textile Art from Hongik University. His interest in children’s literature began when he was holding an exhibition for children, which led him to start drawing for children’s book. Kim mostly uses acrylic paints, gouache paints, and color pencils when he illustrates. He is also a lightning wash expert because it usually takes him only 10 seconds to finish the job. He illustrated for The Golden Top, Ddakji My Ddakji, and The Kimchi Commando.
