Ji Youngjun was born in 1989 in Hongcheon, Gangwon province. Ji has sought comfort from ramen since he was a little boy. He fell back in love with ramen during his 21 months of military service. Frequent night shifts led him to try all the ramen at the PX(army convenience store), an experience which developed into his dream of tasting every ramen in the world. That incredible encounter with the world of ramen during his military service was what gave him the spark to realize that dream.. Upon his release from mandatory military service, he has been running a blog called “Conquer All Ramen.” He has become a ramen expert sought out by media and programs including “People of Full Capacity” by MBC, “Wednesday Foodtalk” by tvN. He has also received several interview requests from eminent magazines. A graduate of Cheongju National University of Education, the author now works at Haemi Elementary School as a teacher. However, his dream of tasting every ramen in the world is still going strong.

(Japanese) ラーメン完全征服ブログを運営してきて、『ラーメン完全征服』という本も出版した。放送プログラムとラジオプログラムで求める専門家となり、京郷新聞、朝鮮日報などの新聞にも紹介された。清州教育大学を卒業して現在瑞山海美小学校で教師として勤務中の今も、世界のすべてのラーメンを食べてみるという彼の夢は進行中だ。
