(English) In 1991, she started her career as a writer by winning the Enlightenment Children's Literature Award with her work "A Room with Beatles Songs." In 1993, she won the Samsung Literary Award with "The Moon Knows," and in 2003, her book "Let's Read Books!" was selected for MBC Exclamation Point and was published in Thailand, France, China, and Vietnam. In addition, 12 of her books have been published in foreign languages. She received the Sejong Children's Literature Award for "Do You Know the Snail?" and the Korean Children's Literature Award for "The House Hidden Like a Bird in the Clouds."
