(English) Gong is a scientist who explores why plants that grow and live in one place do not do so in other ecosystems. Currently, he is busy with research on the relationships among the natural environment, human beings, and ecosystems. Gong received his doctorate in biological geology from the University of Hull in the UK and is currently a professor of geology at Kyunghee University.
