Kim Sun-bai earned a bachelor's degree in graphic novels and studied illustrated books at Hills, a South Korean illustration school. Entertaining and creative illustrator, Kim enriches the stories beyond what's conveyed through the text. Kim was recognized with the Korean Anderson Prize - a Special Award in Arts for Glacier Rats Fur. Kim's illustrations appear in numerous children's books, including Wicked Witch Next Door and Ms. Kim Mandeok from Jeju Island. Kim was reminded of the film Papillon from the news about an Asian black bear that escaped from a bear farm. Kim is the writer and illustrator of Just One Bite!
