After graduating from Dongguk University with a degree in Literary Creation, Kwon Park earned her doctorate degree in Korean Language and Literature from the same institution. The poet started her literary career with the magazine Literature and Thought in 2012. Kwon won the 38th Kim Soo-young Literary Award with her poem collection entitled It’s Time to Understand.
