(English) Lee Minju studied fashion design at Sungkyunkwan University and received her PhD with her thesis “Study on the Ceremony Procedure and Dress Style Depicted in Joseon Investiture Ceremony Protocols”. She tries to understand the life goals and values of Joseon people by studying their clothing. She wrote Royal Clothing of Joseon: Drawing Dragons and Embroidering Pheonixes and The Desires of the Chima-Jeogori: A Cultural History of Concealing and Revealing.
