Choi Huigyu majored in Biotechnology at Dongguk University and received his MA and PhD in Particle Technology from the Graduate School of Pusan National University. He worked as a post doctoral researcher at Nagoya University in Japan, an overseas correspondent at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information and then a researcher at Gyeongsang National University and Pusan National University. At present, he is teaching students at the Department of Mechatronics Convergence Engineering at Changwon National University.
He received the Graduate School Research Achievement Award at the spring conference held by the Korean Institute of Chemical Engineers and the Best Award at the essay contest held by National Human Rights Commission of Korea. Additionally, he has published around 40 papers abroad and in Korea as well as over 30 papers just in Korea and held presentations at more than 150 international and domestic conferences. He also wrote Let's Play with Powders for a Week!
