Koh Dong-yeon (F) received her PhD in Post-war Art History and Film Theory from the City University of New York. After returning to Korea, she worked as the co-director of Art 2021 Gallery (2008-2010), a Korean jury for the Sindoh Artist Support Program (SINAP, 2011-2014), as well as a mentor and a steering committee member for domestic and overseas art residencies.

Books she has recently published include Respond, Artists; Pop Art and American Society in the 1960s and Staying Alive: Surviving as a Curator in Our Era (2016, Seoul: Snifactory), which is a compilation of in-depth interviews with Korean curators.
