Moon has become the voice of the people in diaspora communities as she writes about outcasts and the marginalized. Her books include Still, I Have Blossomed, Pictures in the Graves, Lady-in-waiting Hwakyi, Grandpa Became a Baby, A Lone Room in Henequen Children, Black Ocean, Kareisky the Endless Wayfare, Yeongdae a Kotjebi, Across the Tumen (The English title for Yeongdae a Kotjebi), An Jung-geun’s last Word, The Flower That Blooms Late Are More Beautiful, and The One Hundred Years of the Provisional Government: the People and Events. She is also the chief director of the Choi Jae-hyeong Memorial Committee.
