Yang Jeongmu graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Archaeology & Art History and received a PhD from London University College, well-known for being a top authority in art history. Currently, Yang is a professor in the Department of Art Theory at Korea National University of Arts and the director of the Korean Art Research Institute. He is a popular lecturer drawing much attention from all organizations and broadcasting programs and is well-known for his studies connecting the development of Western fine arts to commercialism.
