In 2001, Park Hyunkyung was chosen as the new writer for Munhwa Ilbo and Kwangju Maeil. She also won the MBC Creative Children’s Literary Award, Proon Literary Award, and Creative Children’s Story Award from Konkuk University. Books written by Park include Best Best Friend and Worst Best Friend, Flying Candy, Cherry Thief, I Took my Brother to the Art Museum, Robot Andy, You and I Run and Ddoma’s Swing.
