Chang Hajoon graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Economics, receiving his MA and PhD in Economics at the University of Cambridge in England. Since 1990, he has been an economics professor at the University of Cambridge. In 2003, Chang won the Myrdal Prize, which is given to the economist who presents an alternative to neoclassical school. In 2005, he won the Leontief Prize, which is given to the economist with the most outstanding contributions to economic theory.
