Lee Kyungdeok studied Philosophy in university, acquiring the power to understand the world, and cultural anthropology at graduate school to find the truth of the world. He acquired his PhD in Mythology and Rituals at Hanyang University's School of Cultural Anthropology. He currently holds lectures about rituals, festivals, mythologies and economic anthropology at a university, and writes articles about culture. Books he has written include Western and Eastern Mythologies Around Us; Mythology, The Mirror of Our Era; The Path to Our Ancient History, The Heritage of the Three States; World Heritages of Korea Selected by UNESCO; and An Alien's Report on Humanity, and he has also translated several books, including Power of Thinking; Beyond Orientalism; World History from the Eyes of a Nomad; and Civilisation Grecque(3-book series).
