Yoon Jeongro (F) studied sociology as an undergraduate at Seoul National University's College of Sociology and acquired her Master's and Ph.D in sociology from Harvard University. In 1991, she began to work as professor at the KAIST Department of Humanities and Social Sciences and is currently head of the KAIST College of Liberal Arts and Convergence Science. Books he has written include Science and Technology and Korean Society - The sociology of Science in Our Daily Lives and ELSI Issues on Current Biotechnology, and her translation work includes Ubiquitous - The Two Faces of Sharing and Surveillance.
