Soo-jeong Lee is a forensic psychology professor at Kyonggi University. She received master’s degree and doctorate in social psychology from Yonsei University, earned master’s degree in psychometrics from Iowa State University and completed graduate coursework there. She was a member of the Supreme Court’s Sentencing Commission, of the Supreme Prosecutors’ Office’s advisory committee, and of the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family’s Commission on Youth Protection. She has also written numerous books and articles on forensic psychology. Recently she has been named among 100 most inspiring and influential women from around the world for 2019 by BBC and inspiring women in Korea by the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Korea.
