Born in 1955 in the city of Youngcheon in the North Gyeongsang Province of South Korea, Baek Mu-san entered Hyundai Heavy Industries and worked as a labor worker in 1974 before beginning his writing career 1984 with the presentation of Hell Ship in People’s Poem 1. His poems include Workers of the World, Unite!, Micelle Own and in the Morning Dawn, Time of Man, The Road is the Wilderness, the First Resolution, Road Outside the Road, Great Everyday Life and Every Edges. He received the Leesan Literary Award, Manhae Literary Award, Beautiful Writer Award, Oh Janghwan Award, ImHwa Literature Art Award, and Daesan Literary Award.
