The author holds a Ph.D. in North Korean Studies from Dongguk University Graduate School and works as an adjunct professor. Currently, he operates at the Institute of North Korean Studies and focuses on research on North Korean currency and finance. His goal is to build a win-win economic paradigm through a new platform for inter-Korean economic cooperation. His major studies include Establishment of Community of Money and Crack in Community of Leader(2014), A Study on Changes in North Korea's Economic System(2016), Reformation of North Korean economy and Formation of Bureaucratic Market(2016).
