Lee Taeho (M) graduated from the Hongik University College of Painting in 1974 and the Hongik University Graduate School of Art History in 1978.
He has been a professor at Myongji University since 2003 and is also the current head of the Graduate School of Culture and Art (2012-present) and a Cultural Asset Committee Member of Gyeonggi and Chungcheong Province. Previously, he held the position of Cultural Asset Committee Member of the Cultural Heritage Administration (2004-2007). Lee won the Wuhyeon (Go Yuseob) Academic Award in 2011. Books he has written include Landscape Paintings of Late Joseon - Four Seasons Contained in Old Paintings (2011) and Bird and Flower Paintings of Late Joseon - The World of Flowers, Birds, Insects and Fish (2013).
