(English) Go Yeonhi received her PhD in Korean Literature from Ewha Woman's University and Master's degree in Art History from Hongik University. Her main interest is in deepening her understanding about paintings from the Joseon Dynasty in relation to the literature and philosophy of the same period, and describing them in today's perspective and language. She has written A Study on Travel Writing During Late Joseon Dynasty (2001) and Flower and Bird, Heart of Nobles (2004), and co-written Women in Traditional Chinese Literature, Traditional Chinese Literature and Aesthetics, and Culture Map of 19th Century Intellectuals.

(Japanese) 梨花女子大学国文科で画家の謙斎(キョンジェ)・鄭敾(チョンソン)をテーマに博士論文を書き、その後同大学美術史学科で翎毛畵草画の政治的性格をテーマに博士論文を書いた。民族文化研究院(高麗大学)、韓国文化研究院(梨花女子大学)、奎章閣韓国学研究院(ソウル大学校)研究教授、シカゴ大学客員研究員を務め、現在は成均館大学東アジア学科に在職している。
