Namgung In graduated from Korea University College of Medicine and obtained his board certification in emergency medicine at Korea University Hospital. He is currently serving as a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital. Through lectures before network TV shows, schools, libraries, and public institutions, he shares stories of the world as seen from the ER.​
