- Book Intro
-
By definition, a movie is a creation in which the director has full artistic authority. Movies also reflect expectations for aspects that prove that a film is of the director's vision and intent. A writer film is a concept that encompasses the aforementioned definition as well as such expectations. Writer films refer to films in which the director expresses his/her original thematic consciousness in his/her own words. Therefore, elements that can be expected from a writer film are the director's own high-density visual expressions. In other words, the director's own artistic intuition sublimated into a form. If movies are food for the soul, this book will provide a delicacy of writer films to audiences who only dine on genre films.
