Although Ha Myunghee has written novels and essays, this marks the first time that she has published a screenplay. As a writer famous for screenplays that convey emotions, Ha Myunghee chose Temperature of Love for her first publication because she wanted to convey the words and various emotions of the characters that did not make it on air.

“Ha Myunghee's scripts are delicate. The emotions are challenging to convey on screen, but I knew I wanted to express every detail,” said actress Seo Hyun-jin.  Actress Lee Mi-sook even said, "Ha Myunghee's lines can't be properly delivered if your head is not in the game."

What makes the publication of Ha Myunghee's screenplay special is that this is the perfect opportunity to see the stage directions and emotions contained in the lines that even the actors had difficulty fully expressing. The words of love from the heart of Ha that couldn't be delivered on the show can now be read unabridged.

소설과 에세이를 출간한 바 있는 하명희 작가지만 대본집 출간은 이번이 처음이다. 감정선을 잘 살려내는 대본으로 유명한 하명희 작가가 첫 대본집 출간으로 <사랑의 온도>를 선택한 것은, 드라마에서 보여주지 못한 온수커플의 다양한 감정들과 아쉽게도 드러나지 못했던 언어들을 전달하고 싶었기 때문이다.

배우 서현진은 “하명희 작가님의 대본은 섬세하다. 감정선 자체가 사건이라 연기하기는 쉽지 않지만 섬세하게 표현하고 싶다는 생각에 출연하게 됐다”라고 소감을 밝혔다. 배우 이미숙은 “하명희 작가 대본은 머리 나쁘면 못한다”라고 했을 정도이다.

하명희 작가의 대본집 출간이 특별한 이유는, 바로 배우들조차 감정선을 표현해내기 힘들어했던 그 문장들과 지문을 볼 수 있는 절호의 기회라는 것이다. 영상에서 보여주지 못한, 작가가 마음속에서 이야기하고 싶었던 사랑의 말들을 무삭제판으로 담았다.
