Overview

With the main character, Jiwoo, the book explains the birth and developmental phases of artificial intelligence (AI), robots, and the changes they have brought on our lives.

Book Intro

(English) A Robot Came to My House!

* RoRo, a Special Guest from the Future, Tells Us about Artificial Intelligence and Robots *

Software education, including artificial intelligence (AI), is all the rage, even in elementary schools. Most recently, one Korean college created a department of artificial intelligence and recruited their first freshmen. In baduk, poker, and other games, humans and AI have competed against each other. Now that AI has penetrated deeply into our society, learning and utilizing AI has become more and more important.

In A Robot Came to My House!, RoRo, who accidently came to the present from 100 years in the future, meets Jiwoo in the year 2020. Jiwoo was looking for a fun theme that he could post on his blog as homework. As soon as he meets RoRo, he starts to ask questions about robots and artificial intelligence. From their conversation, readers can learn about the birth and developmental stages of robots and artificial intelligence, and the effect they have made on our lives.
