Overview

A manifesto-like picture book about nature, which human beings have neglected.

Book Intro

(Russian)

(English) Grass Friends

The narrators of this book are blades of grass living on a golf course covered with artificial turf and provided with sprinklers. One by one, the grass is visited by dogs and cats who provide natural manure, and by wild flowers who show the beauty of colorful weeds. The grass is glad to have many new friends now. But the maintenance staff cut the uneven grass evenly. The blades of grass drink cool weed killer and their friends leave them. The blades of grass wonder why.
