Overview

Book Intro

(English) The Secret of the Ring ; The One Who Connects Time

Since the outbreak of nuclear war after computer systems were contaminated with viruses, survivors have been living in Baron, an artificial city built on the ocean. Fifteen-year-old Naria is selected as the Child of the Year and happens to travel to a world called Coré. Coré is a pre-modern society where people live in nature, symbolizing the circular view of worlds that are connected in a ring. This novel questions the technological advancement of our modern civilization and provides food for thought about what is a desirable way to live.
