About the Author

Wooh Nayoung



Wooh Nayoung (F) is an illustrator better known by her pen name, Obsidian. She was born in Seoul in 1979 and majored in Korean Painting at Ewha Womans University. She grabbed the the attention of the global netizens with her Western Children's Stories Wearing Hanbok series, which included Alice in Hanbok. Alice in Hanbok was invited to the 150th anniversary of the Alice in Wonderland exhibition held at the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art in the USA, and the Vaclav Havel Library in Paris. At present. At present, she is actively collaborating with domestic and overseas global companies, such as Jonnie Walker, Disney, Samsung and Blizzard.
