This is a reading text book designed for Korean language learners who want to naturally learn the language while reading about Korean culture.
The topics of this book were determined based on a survey of images that foreigners frequently think about when they think about Korea.
This book can be used as a self-study book or classroom textbook. The targeted readers are Korean learners as a foreign language (foreigners and overseas Koreans) and children learning Korean as their mother tongue.
The book is comprised of a total of 15 chapters, each written in the following order: Prereading → Reading → Vocabulary → Comprehension → Grammar → Discussion → Writing

Lee Yunjin
After receiving a PhD in Korean Language and Literature from Yonsei University, Lee Yunjin (F) received an MA in Teaching Korean as a foreign language at the Graduate School of Education of Ewha Womans University. She taught Korean language in Japan through the JET program and worked as a Korean language instructor at the Konkuk University Language Institute.
