The protagonist of this story is an anesthesiologist who has a painful memory of losing his patient to malignant hyperthermia triggered by a general anesthetic. While trying to find the truth behind the accident that led an actress to lose consciousness under Propofol, he comes to face a catastrophic disaster caused by a greedy pharmaceutical company.
